Francis L. Wolfe

FRANCIS WOLFE 1950-2022

Francis was born in Liverpool Nova Scotia, to Francis and Freda Wolfe. The eldest of five children, his siblings were Karen, Janice, Joyce, and Bruce. Sadly, Francis was predeceased by his parents and his siblings Karen and Bruce. Francis came to Prince Rupert as a 19-year-old, looking for work but not intending to stay for long, but Prince Rupert quickly became home.

Francis loved being a Firefighter; it was his dream job, and he treasured his 36 years with Prince Rupert Fire Rescue. Francis was a long-time member of the Prince Rupert Lions Club and was also deeply involved in the fight to find a cure for cancer with Team Prince Rupert and the Ride to Conquer Cancer/Tour de Cure. Francis is survived by his sisters Janice and Joyce, and his family: Karen, Dontanya, Adrian, Jeremy, Brendan, and his beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is also survived by many close and treasured friends.
