Leonard Andrews proudly served with the Saint John Fire Department for 32 years, a career that he truly loved. Throughout his years of service, he rose to the rank of Lieutenant and was awarded the Medal of Valour for a heroic act of bravery. He served as a past president of the Saint John Firefighters Association, Local 771, I.A.F.F. as well as a devoted member of the Saint John Critical Incident Stress Management Team, reflecting his commitment to supporting both his community and his fellow firefighters.

While Len was dedicated to his career, his greatest pride was always his family. He was a loving husband, a devoted father, and a loyal friend who would do anything for the people he cared about. He loved spending time outdoors, whether he was feeding his hummingbirds, driving his Polaris Ranger, or fishing with his son. He appreciated the simple things in life and treasured every moment spent with his wife, son, and daughter. Len will be remembered for his kindness, strength, sense of humour, and unwavering dedication to those around him. His impact on his family, friends, and the fire service will never be forgotten. His memory continues to live on in the many lives he touched.
