Peter Anstey dedicated 20 years to the fire service as a firefighter, proudly serving his community with courage, professionalism, and compassion. Throughout his career, he also served as a fire dispatcher, was an active member of the Hazmat Team, and shared his knowledge through instructing with Fire and Emergency Services, helping to train and mentor future generations of firefighters. His commitment to serving others extended beyond the fire service through his role as Superintendent of the local Saint John Ambulance Brigade, where he continued to support and strengthen his community. While he was deeply dedicated to public service, he was equally devoted to his family. He was a loving and supportive spouse, a proud father, and a positive presence in the lives of all who knew him. Remembered for his kindness, leadership, and unwavering commitment to helping others, his legacy continues to live on through the many people he served, taught, and loved.
