Peter Alexander MacDonald  

December 1961 - February 2025

Peter was a dedicated volunteer member of the Cross Roads Fire Department for 34 years.  He joined the department in 1989 rising through the ranks from Firefighter to Captain and retired as Deputy Fire Chief in 2023.  He was also an active member of the Provincial and Canadian Fire Fighters Curling Association.  He held the position of Provincial Director of the PEI Fire Fighters Curling Association and was Vice President of the Canadian Fire Fighters Curling Association at the time of his death.  In January 2025, Peter was inducted as a Life Member into the Canadian Fire Fighters Curling Association. This prestigious award is presented by the members of the Canadian Fire Fighters Curling Association in recognition of someone who has devoted many years to the success of their Provincial Association as well as given many years of service to the Canadian Fire Fighters Curling Association.
