The 2012 ceremony host is the Canadian Fallen Firefighters Foundation with the help of all previous honourary host departments. Toronto; Ottawa; Montreal; Halifax; Vancouver; Brampton; Calgary; Saint John.

This special ceremony will include the official dedication of the new Canadian Firefighters Memorial and will pay tribute to the nearly 1100 Canadian firefighters who have lost their lives serving Canada. The names of all firefighters added to the honour roll since the last ceremony will be read at the ceremony. In addition, special presentations will be made to the families of those firefighters who were actively employed at their time of death.
Firefighters from across the country and the public are welcome to attend the Memorial Ceremony and support Canada’s fallen firefighter families. While in Ottawa be sure to visit the CFFF store at the Sheraton Hotel, 150 Albert Street..
